Coaching

“Ger worked with me for a number of sessions with a specific goal in mind. Halfway through our first session I had a genuine moment of clarity where a problem I’d been trying to “figure out” just dissolved. After months of agonising & procrastinating over this decision, within an instant I knew exactly what to do and how to do it. It’s true that I had the answers all along but I needed a skilled mentor/coach to lead me to those answers. Once this epiphany happened, things moved extremely quickly and I can genuinely say, many aspects of my life have now changed as a result of that first session. I now believe that I am 100% in control of my destiny and know exactly what path to take. I would not hesitate in recommending Ger for business or indeed any type of life coaching, but be warned, after one or two sessions, prepare for big changes and be ready to act…she seems to have that magic effect on people”! Coaching Client, Dublin, February 2015.

“Ger was lovely and I felt really listened to when I talked about my family & how I was coping with some problems we were having. Since our session, I’ve been more aware of trying to find some ‘me time’ in my life, despite all the other stuff that is going on“. Coaching Client, Dublin, November 2014.

“During my final year of college I was undecided about what I wanted to do after my exams. As the end drew closer I became increasingly nervous as I did not want my four years of college to go to waste by not using my education. There were a number of paths I wanted to pursue such as a PhD. I also wanted to work in research with Intel, a life-long ambition of mine.
I was put in contact with Ger McHugh in my final semester of college. I was apprehensive about meeting a ‘Life Coach’ as I didn’t think it would do me any good, however I was advised by family and friends that ‘I should meet Ger, it might do you some good’. I took their advice and I’m glad I did. Ger didn’t push me towards anything, she listened to me as I described my various options. She helped me to determine what was most important in my future and then guided me through my options with this in mind. As I talked to Ger I quickly realised that I wanted to work for Intel more than anything else and that this decision supported the ‘important things’.
I am glad that I met Ger. It only took an hour talking to her to make the most important decision of my life. I walked away from the meeting feeling confident, happy and stress free. I applied to Intel and was successful in gaining employment with them. I now work in my dream job without any regrets safe in the knowledge that this is exactly where I want to be and I owe this to Ger. If you are unsure about your future or are having trouble making an important decision I would highly recommend meeting Ger. It could be the best decision you have ever made”.

“When I first met Ger, I felt under pressure with a new baby and new job. She was able to decipher the many positive choices I had made in my life while her encouragement and support led me to some long overdue changes in my thinking. Ger is very perceptive, friendly, and has a great positive attitude. Her gentle guidance and questions were both empowering and thought-provoking”. Coaching Client, May 2014
